Great services, great prices. Do recommend. I've decided to take my car there everytime something's wrong with it
I showed up, chit-chatted with the owner a tiny bit, paid, and drove home. I popped the hood and the shop had done exactly what they had charged me for. All in all, for two hours of labor and the new engine part, the price I paid was accurate and honorable.
My family gets all our repair work done with Mr.Peña. He's a nice guy, and does good work at fair prices. We only had a problem once where one of his new guys seemed to having trouble fixing the air conditioning if I remember correctly. We took it back twice to have it double checked, but he never charged us for any of those extra trips. He warranties a lot of his work, so if you have any problems later, he won't charge at all, or he may just charge for the parts if you don't buy them yourselves (which we usually do since his shop is pretty close to an O'Reillys.) Once, my sister and I got stuck there waiting for our car, and the guys brought us some breakfast tacos! They had offered to drive us home, but since it wasn't a repair that would take too long (maybe about an hour) we opted to wait. Some of these guys might look a little scary, but don't worry. They'll take good care of you and your vehicle :)
They're little rough around the edges, but they're very helpful and friendly. Pricing seems to be upfront and fair. Their mechanics are very honest and helpful. A very rare quality these days.
I took my 2006 Malibu to get serviced. It was misfiring and I had already ran out of troubleshooting steps so my next step, naturally, was to take it to a shop. I'm new to the area and this shop was recommended by the guy at O'Reillys.
I stopped by about 2 hours later to drop off the old spark plugs so they could see what I saw and they gave me a quick update to what was going on, walked me to my vehicle, and physically showed me what they had done. I left to run some errands and about an hour or so later, they called me to let me know they had figured out the fault and that my car was ready.
I also asked about some minor repairs for my second vehicle and they gave me a quote similar to other shops in the area. I don't sense any foul play from the staff, and their work as far as I can tell is true. I'll definitely be bringing my vehicles here whenever I need a professional's aid.
I explained to the mechanic what I believed the issue was. He was a bit hesitant since he said it sounded like a dealer-level issue, but decided to accept the car and said he'd try to diagnose it at the very least.
Too expensive and they didn't fix the problem.
