11/13/2017 I only rated this a 1 star so I could leave a review. This place has no idea what "patient privacy" is. I'm surprised they haven't been sued & shut down! The staff seems clueless about what their duties are. They express their frustration & unprofessionalism. One nurse rolled her eyes because she had to wheel a patient back. The facility INCLUDING the ER waiting area is unsanitary! A patient had her blood drawn, was seated back in the waiting area, & left her bloody gauze on one of the chairs. I asked the front desk lady for a Kleenex & she replied with "I don't have any" I asked for an alcohol wipe & she replied with "those have alcohol" I told her someone had left gauze & she said she'd call someone to come clean it, no one ever came! There was a patient in the waiting area wrenching in pain & the front desk lady sat there clueless pretty much ignoring her. This place is a sad case & I highly recommend anyone & everyone to NOT come here. If you're on your way here turn around & please go somewhere else!!

The reason I give this place a one star is because. The owner get out of dealing people. And ALWAYS PUTS WILL SEND IT TO THAT DEPARTMENT.Your the OWNER. Deal with some because there's a lot of the same complaints.Or f hire people that live their job yes, I understand there's a lot of people that put comments but start with the most important ones. Call those people back, they are upset they want to hear from you. Not everything is fix able but showing you all care is a start. Once again to the OWNER IF NOT AT LEAST CHANGE YOUR RESPONSES. HAVE A GOOD DAY!!!!!!!/!

I had my first child at DHR. I felt bullied into a c-section only after 3-4 hours of labor. I was young and had no idea what was going on. I now am pregnant for the second time and after having a c section 5 years ago I fear I am doomed for the same experience. I was robbed of a natural birth. The Dr stood in the doorway and yelled at me, "You need a C-Section, I need a yes or a no right now!" I was wondering if there was something wrong with the baby or me but when I look back at the paperwork, I was fine. Major surgery is a bigger payout i'm sure. I have heard similar stories from other women of being bullied into a c-section. Oh and that is not all, when I was trying to listen to my son cry for the first time the Dr's were just going on about their golf game. Also, the nurses don't help you breastfeed. They pushed formula on me because my son didn't latch on during the first try. They robbed me of that bond and robbed my boy of those nutrients made especially for him.
I worked at this hospital 2 years ago and it's a bad hospital. We brought my mom in through emergency because she was showing major signs of a stroke and the nurse told her she had to wait in the waiting area. I got up and told him that he does not make someone wait who is having a stroke. Security there is a joke. We caught a nurse and doctor having sex in a white mustang behind the Behavioral building in 2015. I DONT need a reply from the so called owner because I know it's not really him and just the department.
I was taken in to check blood pressure and a urine test. It's 3:20 a.m and I still haven't been helped. I've had horrible abdominal pain and they haven't even called me back in. This is NOT an emergency hospital. There was a lady that had been here longer than I had, crying in the waiting room and your staff did nothing to help her. After they spoke to front desk staff and told them they would leave if they weren't going to help, your staff told them they could if they wanted to. What kind of service is this?
