Decent taco and prices. This was listed in texas monthly several years ago,as a,must try for best tacos in the Rio Grande valley. They have many options, pick a protein and two ads one and to have a pretty good taco. The breakfast tacos are very popular. The fajitas leave smithing to be desired. Cuts of meat are low quality and taste as they've been cooked on a griddle. No good grill marks, no enhanced flavor. Salsa has received rave reviews but is noting like el chilito in austin, my gold standard. Rice and beans seemed from bottom of pan, not flavorful or with the expected texture. Maybe an off day but mediocre at best.
The cashier put our order in wrong so it took 45 min to get one crispy chicken taco n then another 30 min for two fajita tacos. Bad service tasty food.
First of all when i was paying the girl at the window snached the 5 dollar bill from my hand turns around to charge but my total was 585 so i was holding my change.. Second my tacos were full of fat both beef and cheese.. No napkins knowing they are messy tacos.. Never again will i come here.. At least at mrs gs their food is good and they are nice!!!
The food was delicious! The portion on my plate was like for 2 people. I recommend this place to everyone!
The food was great! The customer service was not. I arrived at 8 a.m. the time the restaurant opens. There was already someone waiting at the drive thru but that customer waited approximately 10 minutes before she gave up and drove up to the window. No one took her order at the speaker. When I drove thru I waited and said hello but no one was taking orders so I drove up to the window and placed my order there. The employee was barely putting on her head phones. I asked her if I could have a drink since I had to wait so long but she said she had to ask the manager. When it became evident that she didn't ask I asked to speak to the manager. She said she was in charge and started arguing with me about what time she took her first order. It was 8:17 when I spoke to her. All I asked her for was a drink and she became very argumentative. That is not good customer service! If that had happened at Whataburger or any other place that cares about their customers the manager would have happily given me a courtesy drink. She eventually gave me a tiny cup with more ice than drink. I think this person needs some basic training in customer service skills!
